Appointments & Cancellations

We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or changes.

 

 

Booking Fees

Certain appointments require a booking fee at the time of booking.

 

 

Patch Testing Policy

A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to all new colour services or where more than 6 months has passed since your last colour appointment.

 

 

This policy follows manufacturer and insurance guidelines.

 

Colour Services & Client Responsibility

Clients must provide full and accurate information regarding previous colour history, chemical treatments, allergies, medications, and medical conditions.

 

While every reasonable care is taken, results may vary depending on hair condition and history, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

 

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so under Scottish law.

 

Clothing Advisory

Clients are kindly advised not to wear good or expensive clothing when attending appointments, particularly for colour services.

 

Although every precaution is taken, in rare circumstances accidents may occur, including colour transfer or product contact with clothing. We therefore recommend wearing older or darker clothing to your appointment.

 

Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while in the salon. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage unless caused by negligence.

 

Refunds, Adjustments & Complaints

 

We do not offer refunds on completed services.

 

If you are unhappy with your service:

 

No adjustments will be offered for change of mind, results not discussed during consultation, or home styling/maintenance.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where abusive behaviour, unrealistic expectations, or failure to follow salon policies occurs.

By booking an appointment with Dawn Hair, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
